Calling all CFE Members to Help Those Less Fortunate!

Our very own Eric and Erika Nelson have reached out to everyone at CFE in support of their church’s Christmas donation drive (see letter below).  This season, consider giving back to those less fortunate and helping make a families Christmas a little brighter!

We have donation boxes set up in the office at CFE.  If you don’t have time to shop, consider donating cash (hand to any coach or Christi at the front desk). Every little bit helps.

The details on the donation drive can be found in the letter below:

“Dear Neighbor,

As the fall leaves begin to blanket the ground and the excitement of holiday planning and family gatherings begins to fill our minds, we want to take a pause and remember that for too many families, the holidays are anything but joyful and festive. Sadly, 69% of the families served by us at the First Pentecostal Church of Spring Branch live on a total income of less than $25,000 annually. Sadly, this means that these families go without a special holiday meal and many children do not experience opening a wrapped gift on Christmas morning. But you can share a little joy and Christmas cheer with those who need it the most by helping us provide these families with the basic staples for a holiday meal and gifts for their children.

With your support the First Pentecostal Church of Spring Branch (PIPSB) would like to provide holiday meals and gifts for fifty families of the Spring Branch area. We have received requests for help from these families and we seek your help to meet their needs. There are many ways to help sponsor…you can help with a financial donation, food donation, or by collecting canned goods and new unwrapped toys at your location. Remember that we are a 501 (c) organization and that all of your donations are tax deductible.

We will distribute food items and gifts to the families on Sunday, December 20th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the First Pentecostal Church of Spring Branch, 5503 Gessner Drive, Houston, TX 77041. Your support and generosity are essential to our goal of helping families in the Spring Branch receive the gift of joy this season.]
If you would like to organize a collection on behalf of the PIPSB or if you are interested in making donations, please contact Monica Ceballos at (713) 315-7724 or escueladominicalpipsb@yahoo.com for more information.
Thank you for sharing your blessings with those in need this holiday season. May God bless you and your family!”
