When I found CrossFit over 8 years ago, I knew that I had not only discovered my future fitness program but also my future career. For years I did the typical globo gym exercises such as bicep curls and running in circles on the treadmill. Occasionally I would tackle half and full marathons and triathlons for the shear challenge and sense of accomplishment. But I always knew deep down there was something missing both physically and emotionally. That day when I nervously stepped into my first CrossFit class and finished my first WOD, I knew immediately that I had found what was missing.
Today at the age of 50 I am in the best shape of my life! I am able to do things I have never done before: gymnastics movements, lift heavy stuff, climb things and jump high all with a supportive community of likeminded people I call friends. Oh, and by doing all these fun things and by eating healthy (100% Paleo 80% of the time) I’ve lost weight, gained important muscle mass and feel fantastic!
I am passionate about sharing this love of CrossFit with others. I truly believe CrossFit is for everybody and for “every body”!
