At CFE we take pride in providing our members with the best and safest workout experience with the best coaching possible. And we are ecstatic when our member’s spread the CrossFit love and want to introduce them to it!
However, bringing a friend to a regularly scheduled class who has no prior CrossFit experience, is not safe and is not the right way to help that new person. When an inexperienced person joins a class, not only does their experience suffer (and potentially puts them at risk for injury) but our valued current members don’t receive the attention they deserve and that they pay for.
So the first step for that new person to be introduced to CFE is through our 30 min No Sweat Intro! This is a 1 on 1 consultation to talk about their goals, health/injury history, concerns etc. This is the ONLY way to really assess what will be best for you. After that, then we can plan what path will best to help a client reach their goal in a safe and efficient and enjoyable manner.
CFE members can also bring their friends to one of our once a month free Thursday or Saturday “Bring A Friend Class”. In these classes, we have multiple coaches on staff and the class movements are geared for beginners.
I have failed to communicate this message to our members effectively and in the past, I have made exceptions and allowed a few non-experienced people join their friends in a regularly scheduled class. This will no longer be the case.
At CFE we want new or potential members to have a great experience but we want our current members to have the best possible experience as well. So spread the love and have your friends book a No Sweat Intro to get started!
